Some Permanent Residence Approvals In September!

  1. From a simple PR and Study consultation with Sophie and her family in November 2020, Sophia and her family were armed with an immigration strategy that would secure them a Canada education and eventually permanent residence. They applied for Provincial Nomination through the New Brunswick PNP Student Connect stream. Upon Nomination gained an additional 600 points to her Express Entry profile, and finally received an ITA to apply for permanent residence. The application was submitted on June 19, 2023, and she got her PR approval on September 26, 2023.

2. Sola another former International Student and her family are now Permanent Residents as well. The journey to PR was inked for her once she gained on year of Canadian Experience that significantly boosted her express entry scores to an impressive 495. This milestone finally earned her the coveted Invitation to Apply (ITA). Sola once again trusted us to guide her through the final steps and signed up for our application review services, and on September 15th 2023 she received a permanent residence confirmation. Again, this client journey all began with a consultation and continuous guidance from our team of regulated consultants.

3. Deji came to Canada in 2018 for his Masters and knew he wanted to make Canada his home. He turned to us for help, and after a consultation, we highlighted the various pathways to PR available. One of which included the Ontario Master's Graduates Stream, a non- express entry stream. We submitted a profile in August 2022 and he received an NOI in September and then received a nomination. Upon receipt of the nomination, we submitted his application through the Permanent Residence portal and he received his approval on Sept 13th 2023. Deji, did not have to worry and wait for EE draws to align with his scores, the discovery of the NON-express entry option enabled him to achieve his goals.

The Express Entry system is Canada's primary immigration pathway for skilled workers. A pathway that also allows  Provinces and territories to recruit candidates from the Express Entry system through their Provincial Nominee Programs to meet local labor market needs.

There are now Three distinct types of express entry draws

  1. General Rounds of Invitations

  2. Program Specified Draws (CEC, FSW, PNP, FSTP)

  3. Category-Based Draw

Category-Based Draw began in June 2023 and IRCC chose the following categories as areas of focus for 2023. For 2023, IRCC chose these categories:
