Digital nomads, defined as individuals working remotely for foreign employers or self-employed with clients outside Canada, may enter and stay in Canada for up to six months under visitor status. Key Documents Required for a Digital Nomad Visa?
Identify Document: A clear, color copy of your valid passport or travel document that you'll use to travel to Canada.
Proof of Fund: This is to show you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in Canada.
Itinerary: Documents that show how long you plan to stay and what you’ll do in Canada
Travel History: If you’ve traveled to Canada or other countries, this can show that you’ve been able to get a visa in the past. Proof of this includes copies of previous visas in your passport.
Proof of Remote Work: Proof of employment and source of Income as a digital nomad
Proof of Ties: Proof of strong ties in your home country to show that you will return to your home country at the end of your authorized stay.
