$440M Planned for Immigration


The Canadian government plans to commit $440M over the next three years towards immigrations. The three year immigration plan that was released last fall is set to bring in close to a 1M new immigrants by 2020.

2018- 310,000 Immigrants

2019 - 330,000 Immigrants 

2020 - 340,000 Immigrant 

It is estimated that 60% of these new immigrants     Will be economic immigrants through the Express Entry system and Provincial Nominations.

To qualify for the Express Entry stream, applicants my first qualify through one of the following programs

Federal Skill Worker program 

Canadian Experience class 

Federal Skill Trade category 

The provinces all have unique immigration programs. Potential applicants are require to explore these programs to determine if they meet eligibility requirements. Some popular province for nominations include
